I remember Elva when we were young children. She lived up the street from me. Later her family moved away and we didn't have any contact. We was a sweet girl that I spent time with when I was in elementary school. So sorry to hear of your passing.Joyceann Padovani (1960)
Elva was very smart but did not have the opportunity to attend college. She did not have a mean bone in her body.Joan Parmer (Detweiler) (1956)
Elva was my younger sister - and quite a character. After selling the Cedar Avenue house, the family moved to Cornwell Heights.
Her husband was in the Air Force and when they retired they settled in Florida - and so she had quite a "southern" accent (at times). She loved casnasta and whopped my butt until I realized she had told me my closed piles had to have 8 card but hers had 7.
