Elaine K Tregembo Obituary
With heavy hearts, we announce the passing of Elaine K. (Kuppel) Tregembo, who left us peacefully on Sunday September 14, 2025, at the age of 83. Born on July 1, 1942, in Philadelphia, PA, to the late Esther (Hildreth) and Charles W. Kuppel and was a resident of Bensalem for the past 72 years.
Elaine graduated from Bensalem High School in the Class of 1960 and spent five joyous years as a van driver with the Bucks County Intermediate Unit (BCIU), bringing smiles and warmth to the children she transported. Her previous role as an office manager at Allstate Insurance also showcased her dedication to serving others. Always the heart of her community, Elaine found joy in her connections at the Bensalem Presbyterian Church, where she embraced her faith and built a network of lifelong friends.
Elaine was a passionate reader and animal lover, whose love for her dogs, especially Precious, Lily, and Barbara, filled her home with happiness. Her infectious laughter lit up the room, and her spirit will always remain in our hearts.
She loved her numerous vacations to Walt Disney World with her grandchildren and sunny trips to the campgrounds of South Jersey, making unforgettable memories on the sandy shores of Sea Isle City, Stone Harbor, and Ocean City, NJ always enjoying a good book on the beach. Her travels took her from Hilton Head, SC, to Palm Beach, CA, and even to Cabo San Lucas, Mexico, with her loving friends Jim and Linda. She also cherished her trips with her dear friends Barbara and Joe to Hilton Head, SC and Sea Isle City, NJ.
Family was everything to Elaine. She adored her husband of 50 years, John J. Tregembo, and they journeyed through life sharing countless adventures and love. She is survived by her daughter Maureen Connelly (Pete) and her step-son John Tregembo, her cherished sister Carole Bello, and her loving grandchildren: Justin Connelly, Katey Cognetti (Kyle), and Nolan McMahon, all of whom brought her boundless joy. Elaine will be lovingly remembered by her beautiful nieces, Janice Kelly (Dan), Jennifer Gazzara (Jeff), Nancy Montanez (Mike), and Colleen Nydick (Corey). Though she was preceded in death by her son, Brian McMahon, and her brother, Donald Kuppel, Elaine's love continues through her family and the wonderful moments they shared.
Relatives and friends are invited to attend her visitation Saturday, October 4, 2025 from 10 to 11 AM at Bensalem Presbyterian Church, 2826 Bristol Rd, Bensalem, PA 19020, followed by her service at 11 AM. Interment will be private. In lieu of flowers, donations in her son Brian McMahon’s memory can be made to the American Cancer Society, 1818 Market St, Philadelphia, PA 19103. www.tomlinsonfh.com
