Barbara Jean Orr

October 15, 1943 – March 17, 2026

Barbara Jean Orr, 82, of North Wales, Pennsylvania, passed away on March 17, 2026. She will be remembered for her kindness, generosity, and quiet strength. She lived a life defined by compassion, loyalty, and devotion to those she loved, leaving a lasting impression on both people and animals in her care.

Barbara was born on October 15, 1943, in Philadelphia, Pennsylvania. A graduate of Bensalem High School, Class of 1961, Barbara later attended Occupational Trade School. She enjoyed spending time in a bowling league and valued the friendships she made there.

Barbara worked as a secretary for Weeks Worthington & Co., Inc. Throughout her life, she took pride in her work and approached everything she did with diligence and integrity.

She found great joy in decorating for the holidays and was a lifelong Phillies fan. Barbara was also a lover of music and especially enjoyed the voices of Johnny Mathis, The Beach Boys, and Luciano Pavarotti.

Barbara was preceded in death by her husband of 42 years, Richard D. Orr; her father, Clarence Graebner; her mother, Caroline Graebner McCarron; her beloved cats, Tigger and Squeak; and her beagle, Cindy.

She is survived by her daughter, Lara Fleck (Matthew); her son, Preston Orr; her granddaughter, Nicole; her grandson, Raymond; her sister, Linda Misoda (Michael); as well as several nieces and nephews, Karen Packard (John), James Orr (Colleen), Michael Misoda (Ann), and Melissa Misoda (Andrew).

A visitation will be held at Lamb Funeral Home, 101 Byberry Road, Huntingdon Valley, PA 19006, on March 24, 2026, from 10:00 a.m. to 12:00 p.m. A funeral service will follow from 12:00 p.m. to 12:30 p.m. Burial will take place at Sunset Memorial Park, 333 County Line Road, Lower Southampton Township, PA 19006, immediately following the service.
