This is a shock to me -- I thought Diane would make it to 100. We had talked now and then on the phone and Ida and I had lunch with her a few years back in Laurel, MD. Diane was busy as an organizer of adult physical ed activity in her town and she participated on a volleyball team, even though she was having knee trouble like the rest of us. At BHS, Diane was active is sports and acaemics. She finished her college degree at East Stroudsburg in 3 years, a year ahead of her classmates Rick Patton and Sue Call and before I transferred to there.I didn'know she had any serious problems and regret not checking with her recently. My condolences to the familiy. Take pride in a life well-lived and serving others.

We remember Diane playing defense in Basketball as part of the "Mutt & Jeff" combo with Sue.  Back then, the court was split in two with defensive "3" not allowed to cross mid-court.  I'd bet Diane blocked many shots in her time.  RIP.

What a surprise was her passing.  Diane and I were great friends and neighbors growing up.  We attended high school and college (East Stroudsburg) together.  So many good memories.  We lost a gem when she passed.  She will be missed by all.. My prayers and condolences to her family.  Rest in peace, Diane.

Diane and I attended Cornwells Elementary together. She was always smiling and helpful.  I did not participate in basketball. We attended the same cruise several years ago, she was treating her dad, who had never cruised. It was so good to get to socialize again. She is resting in peace, I am sure.
