| Dolores H. "Snipper" Montgomery of Pottsville died Saturday, Jan. 24, 2009, at the Schuylkill Medical Center. She was 65. Born in Bristol, she lived in the Bensalem area all of her life before moving to Pottsville three years ago. Prior to her retirement, she worked at Wood River Village in Bensalem and Milton Roy Industries in Ivyland. She enjoyed bowling and bowled in several leagues at both Bristol Pike and Morrisville Lanes. She also enjoyed camping. Wife of the late Richard Montgomery, she was also preceded in death by her parents, Raymond and Dolores Barth; and her brother, Frank Barth. She is survived by her daughter, Dawn Montgomery and fianc, Christopher Mease, of Pottsville; four grandchildren, Garry III, Allen, Christopher and Erik Griffiths; two sisters, Janice Lignore and Sandra Schmidt; one brother, Raymond Barth; and several nieces and nephews. Family and friends are invited to attend her viewing from 10 to 11 a.m. on Friday, Jan. 30, at Molden Funeral Chapel, 133 Otter St., Bristol, PA 19007. A service will immediately follow at 11 a.m. Interment will be held privately. In lieu of flowers, contributions may be made to the family, c/o the funeral home.
