Shirley Anne Neitzel (Lefferts) (1964)

Very sorry to learn of Helen's passing. I remember her well from school.  Helen was working at Statesman's Nursing Home when I last saw her many years ago. She was one of the employees who was caring for my father. He had a brief stay there for therapy and care after having fallen from a scaffold while working on his home. Helen recognized his last name and asked him if he was related to me. I made it a point to visit my father when she told him she would be on duty. Helen and I had a nice chat and reminisced about our school years. She said she had also taken care of our classmate, Albert "Buddy", when he was there recuperating after an illness. She gave my father wonderful care. She was helping these people in need, and did a good job of it. I am sure she will be missed by many. My sympathy goes out to the Kleinsorg family.
