Theresa Ann Koch, 77, of Selinsgrove passed away on Wednesday, July 10, 2024 at her home. She was born on Dec. 6, 1946 in Lewisburg and was the daughter of the late Frank Hafer and Frances (Wagner) Tisot.
On May 23, 1969, she married Larry E. Koch, who survives.
Theresa was a 1964 graduate of Bensalem High School and retired after 20 years of service from Northumberland County.
She was a member of Christ Community United Methodist Church, Selinsgrove. Theresa had a strong faith and was faithful with reading her Bible. She loved her family and was proud of her grandchildren.
In addition to her husband Larry of 55 years, she is survived by two daughters and sons-in-law Stacie and Michael Gillespie and Jamie and Christopher Kerstetter, three grandchildren Erin Gillespie, Mallory Gillespie, and Grayson Kerstetter, a son, Rohn Koch, and many dear family members.
Theresa was preceded in death by her stepfather David Tisot.
There will be no viewing. A visitation will be held on Saturday, July 20, 2024 from 10 to 11 a.m. at Christ Community United Methodist Church, 3939 Park Road, Selinsgrove followed by the funeral service at 11 a.m. with Rev. Eric Shafer officiating. Burial will be in Shreiner's Cemetery, Selinsgrove.
In lieu of flowers, memorial gifts may be made in loving memory of Theresa to St. Jude Children Research Hospital, 501 St Jude Place, Memphis, TN 38105 or to Christ Community United Methodist Church. Arrangements by the V. L. Seebold Funeral Home, 601 N. High Street, Selinsgrove.
