Delores Marie Fleming, of Langhorne and Mount Dora, Fla., passed away peacefully, surrounded by her family on October 2, 2003, in Florida Hospital Waterman, Eustis, Lake County, Fla. Delores was born October 12, 1932 in Philadelphia and was raised in Andalusia. She graduated from Bensalem High School and earned a degree in Elementary Education from West Chester University. She taught elementary school in Hawaii, Bristol Borough, and Council Rock, for several years before retiring to raise a family.

Delores was blessed with many friends who brought her great joy. She enjoyed playing bridge, traveling and socializing with her fellow members of the Red Hat Society of Mount Dora.

Preceded in death by her parents, Wilford and Susanna Hopely, she is survived by her loving husband of 49 years, Edward J. Fleming Jr. She was the devoted mother of three daughters and sons-law-law, Wendy and George Allen of Langhorne, Jill and Harold Summers of Clermont, Fla., Nancy and Earl Lesko of Langhorne. Delores was the pround "Grammie" to six grandchildren, Lauren and Stephanie Allen, Jackie and Nicole Summers, Mackenzie and Cody Lesko. She is also survived by one sister, Susann Gibbs and her husband, Lester (Tyke) of Mount Dora, Fla., and three nieces and nephews, Leslie and Bob Smith of Orlando, Fla., Jeffrey and Linda Gibbs of Crofton, Md., Stacy and Nick Saturno, of Newtown; David and Samantha Fleming, Paul and Becki Fleming, Amy and Steve Lamb, all of Yardley.

A memorial service will be held on Tuesday, October 14, 2003 at 11 a.m. , at the Lutheran Church of the Resurrection, Makefield and Sutphin Roads, Yardley. Interment will be at the convenience of the family.
