Obituary
Barry Dean Ferris of Bensalem passed away Tuesday September 10, 2024, at the Hospital of the University of Pennsylvania. He was 75 years old. Born in Philadelphia, PA to the late Claire (Streich) and William Ferris, Sr and was a lifelong resident of Bensalem.
He was the proud owner of Langhorne Speed Shop for over 30 years. Barry's love for cars was ignited at a young age and led to his successful career in the automotive industry. His dedication to his business and his customers over the past three decades has had a lasting impact on all who knew him. Bany's passion for cars, NHRA racing, his unwavering support for the Philadelphia Flyers, and his joy in playing blackjack in Atlantic City will forever be cherished by those who knew him. He also enjoyed attending flea markets and loved spending time with his sons.
He will be deeply missed by his loving wife, Michelle DiGirolamo- Ferris. Barry will also be deeply missed by his twin sons, Blaze and Ryan Ferris; His in-laws. Mary and Joseph DiGirolamo; brother-in-law Dean DiGirolamo and sister-in-law Maureen and his dearest friend, Joanne Redding and many other loving nieces and nephews and friends. Bairy was preceded in death by his children, Chandler Ferris, Taylor Ferris, Tyler Ferris, his parents Claire and William Ferris Sr. and his brother William Ferris, Jr.
Relatives and friends are invited to attend his visitation Tuesday, September 17, 2024, from 9:30 to 11 AM at St. Ephrem Church, 5400 Hulmeville Rd., Bensalem, PA 19020, followed by his Mass at 11 AM. Interment will be private.
