Edward H. Ryan

March 5, 1980 - February 4, 2019

EDWARD H. RYAN, born on March 5, 1980, passed away suddenly on Monday, February 4, 2019, at Jefferson Health, Torresdale Campus.

Eddie was a beloved son of Edward J. Ryan, brother to Shannon, Sarah, and Tammy, and father to his two beautiful girls Hannah and Hailey.

Although surrounded by a loving and supportive family, Eddie struggled for a long time with drug addiction which ultimately took a hold of his life and destroyed the promise of his future. Drug abuse takes the lives of more than 140 people per day and the problem won’t be solved by acting like it doesn’t exist. Eddie was a phenomenal baseball player who loved his Philadelphia sports teams and was so talented in his career that he could’ve done anything that he put his mind too. We lost a beautiful soul with an infectious smile way too soon.

Family and friends are invited to attend his viewing on Friday evening, February 8, 2019, from 6:00 pm-8:00 pm at the FLUEHR FUNERAL HOME 864 Bristol Pk. ( Rt. 13 ) Bensalem, Pa. 19020.
