Bill E. Ervin - Class Of 1928
| William E. Ervin Bensalem Resident William E. Ervin, age 93, died Thursday, December 18, 2003 at St. Mary's Medical Center in Langhorne, Pa. Born in Hulmeville, Pa., he was a lifelong resident of Bensalem. He loved being with his children and grandchildren. He was a member of the Cornwells Fire Company for 75 years and was the First Fire Marshall of Bensalem Township. Beloved husband of Ruth (nee Whitley) for 67 years. He will be sadly missed by his children Ruth Ervin Reller and her husband Walter L. of Yardley and Bonnie J. Walter of Bensalem. Also survived by nine grandchildren; William, Douglas, Scott, Edward, and Dennis Wachowski, Deborah Snodgrass, Jennifer Ehrenfeld, Susan Loney, Beth Stampone and 14 great grandchildren. Relatives and friends are invited to celebrate his life, Monday 10:00 a.m. at the Tomlinson Funeral Home, 2207 Bristol Pike, Bensalem. Interment private. Friends may call from 9:00 a.m. until time of service. Contributions in his memory can be made to the Cornwells Fire Company, 2049 Bristol Pike, Bensalem, Pa. 19020 or charity of choice. |
