Elwood Smith McClintic, 89, a retired U.S. Navy veteran, died Sunday, Sept. 9, 2012.

Visitation will be held from 5 to 7 p.m. Thursday, Sept. 13, and service will be held at 2 p.m. Friday, Sept. 14, all at Brantley Funeral Home, Olive Branch, Miss. Burial will be in Memory Hill Gardens.

Mr. McClintic was preceded in death by a son, Ricky McClintic. He leaves his wife, Alice Mae McClintic; one son, Elwood Andrew McClintic; and grandchildren, John, Paul, David, Mathew, Peter, Joel, Billy, Lolie (Henicle) and Hollie McClintic.
