SURVIVORS NAMED FOR WALTER A. TILLEY
 
Survivors have been named for Walter A. Tilley, 70, of 1518 Country Club Drive, who was found dead Sunday on the lawn of Pennco Machinery, 599 E. Airport Road.

 

Lancaster County coroner Dr. Barry D. Walp ruled the death a suicide.

 

Tilley was the founder and chief executive officer of Pennco.

 

He was a member of Highland Presbyterian Church and a former member of St. Peter's Lutheran Church, where he served on the church council and finance committee.

 

Tilley was a Cub Scout leader and a licensed airplane pilot.

 

A veteran of the U.S. Marines, he served in China during World War II.

 

He was married to Charlotte Wyatt Tilley. His first wife, Agnes Tilley, died in 1970.

 

Born in Johnstown, he was the son of the late Walter A. and Olive Tilley.

 

Surviving besides his wife are two sons, Walter A. III, husband of Suzanne Tilley of York, and David A., husband of Dorothy Tilley of Lancaster; two stepsons, Joseph U., husband of Lori Lee, and Brian W., husband of Karen Lee, both of Lancaster; one stepdaughter, Kristen D. Lee of Virginia Beach, Va.; eight grandchildren; and three sisters, Genevieve, wife of Frank Koby, and Dolores, wife of Jack Hansen, both of Bensalem, and Marion, wife of Samuel Morrison of Grasonville, Md.
