Robert Scott

Robert F. "Turk" Scott Croydon Resident Robert F. "Turk" Scott, age 76, of Croydon, Pa., died peacefully Saturday January 3, 2004 at his home surrounded by his family after a lengthy battle with cancer. Born in Croydon, he was a lifetime resident. He was a retired crane operator at Del Penn Steel Co. in Philadelphia and a veteran of WWII and Korea serving in the Army. He was a member of the V.F.W. Tershon Post and the Independent Order of Cooties. Preceded in death by his daughter Virginia, he is survived by his loving wife of 51 years Isabelle M. (Downs) Scott; one son, Robert F. Scott, Jr. of Bensalem, two daughters, Nancy Gosline and husband Richard of Fairless Hills and Karen Iacovelli of Bensalem, three brothers Thomas, Wayne and James Scott and a sister Janice Vengoechea all of Croydon, six grandchildren and three great grandchildren and many nieces and nephews. Relatives and friends are invited to attend his viewing on Wednesday, January 7, 2004 from 9:30-11 a.m. at the Molden Funeral Chapel, Inc., 133 Otter Street, Bristol, Pa. A service will follow at 11 a.m. Interment, Pine Grove Memorial Park. There are no evening calling hours. In lieu of flowers, contributions may be made to the American Cancer Society, 527 W. Butler Avenue, Chalfont, Pa. 18914.
