Obituary
Ronald Carl Polakowski of Bensalem passed away on Tuesday, November 26, 2024, at his residence, surrounded by his loving family. He was 91 years old. Born in Philadelphia, PA to the late Victoria (Osiecki) and Walter Polakowski and was a lifelong resident of Bensalem. Ronald was a graduate of Bensalem High School, Class of 1951.
After graduating from High School, Ronald served in the US Army and was a proud Korean War Veteran. He was known for his strong work ethic and passion for his craft as an Iron Worker at Local#401 for over four decades.
In addition to his successful career, Ronald found joy in various hobbies and interests. An avid golfer and bowler, he also had a green thumb and spent countless hours tending to his garden. Ronald's love for basketball led him to serve as the team manager for the 1951 Bensalem High School Basketball team, showcasing his dedication to sports. He also enjoyed history, especially anything related to WWII.
Outside of his hobbies, Ronald was a devoted Master Mason of the Bristol Lodge No. 25, F&AM in Bristol, Pennsylvania, where he was respected for his commitment to the Masonic community.
Ronald was preceded in death by his loving wife, Maureen (Cullen). He will be deeply missed by his children: W. Carl Pola (JoAnne), Stacey Champion (Albert), Brett Polakowski (Aimee), Kevin Seifert (Sue), Kathleen Graves, Kristina Frydlewicz. He will also be deeply missed by his grandchildren: Spencer Graves, Cullen Graves,Carl J. Pola, Brogan Graves, Alla Pola, Sarah Mercer, Maura Champion, Aiden Mercer and AJ Champion, his sisters, Geraldine Zukowski and Joan Walker, and many nieces and nephews.
Relatives and friends are invited to attend his visitation, Saturday, January 4, 2025 from 2:00 to 3:00 PM at the Tomlinson Funeral Home, 2207 Bristol Pike, Bensalem, PA 19020, followed by his service at 3:00 PM. Interment will take place privately at Washington Crossing National Cemetery.
