James Marlin Henry Obituary

It is with great sadness that we share the passing of James M. Henry of Willow Grove, PA, on January 6, 2025 at the age of 90. His journey ended peacefully surrounded by his family. Jim was born on June 18, 1934 to the late Albert and Sarah (nee Bloom) Henry and raised in Trevose, PA.

Jim was married to the love of his life Peg (nee Kilcoyne) Henry for 65 years. Jim was known for his strong will, dependability, and unwavering determination in his love and support of his family.

Jim led a long career with Bell Telephone, having held several roles from splicer to construction supervisor, and many in between. He served proudly with the United States Army and was stationed in Korea. In his retirement, Jim sang for the Saint David Church choir, enjoyed playing many rounds of golf, and cross stitching.

In addition to his wife, Jim leaves behind his children, Brian (Patricia), Beth McCoy, Robert (Barbara) and Christine Fung (Mark); his grandchildren, Sean, Timothy, Erika Davis, Matthew, Michelle Hickey (Brandon), Colleen, Connor McCoy, Erin McCoy, Ryan Fung, and Justin Fung; and his great-grandchildren, Preston Hickey and Charlotte Henry.

In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by his sister, Elizabeth (Dee) Perotti.

Relatives and friends are invited to greet the family on Monday, January 13, 2025 from 9:30 AM until his Funeral Mass at 10:30 AM at St. David Roman Catholic Church, 316 Easton Rd., Willow Grove, PA 19090. His interment will be held privately.

In lieu of flowers, the family requests contributions to plant a tree as a living tribute to his memory.
