Obituary

John H. Weaver “Jack”, age 91, passed away Saturday February 8, 2025 at at Jefferson Torresdale Hospital.        

Born in Philadelphia to the late Edward Comfort and Ellen Comfort Weaver. He had lived in Seaside Park, NJ and then Bensalem, PA before moving to the Delaware Valley Veterans Home after he suffered a stroke in 2019. Jack was a graduate of Bensalem High School class of 1952 where he played baseball and basketball. He served his country proudly in the U. S. Army at the end of the Korean War. Jack worked for the Bucks County Parks as Superintendent of Core Creek Park. He was a member of Bensalem Country Club and was a lifelong golfer. Jack had many friends, some who would meet regularly for a bite to eat and some good conversation.

Jack is survived by his son John E. Weaver of Cedar Hill, Texas. He was preceded in death by his brother Jim Weaver.

Family and friends will be received at the James O. Bradley Funeral Home, Inc., 260 Bellevue Ave., Penndel, PA 19047 on Wednesday, March 5, 2025 from 10:30 AM to 11:45 AM with a service to be held at 11:45 AM. His interment will follow the service in Washington Crossing National Cemetery.
