Carl R. Arnold Sr '53

Carl R. Arnold Sr. of Levittown passed away Tuesday, March 6, 2012, at St. Mary's Medical Center surrounded by his loving family. He was 76.

Born in Philadelphia, he was a resident of Levittown for 52 years. Carl was employed as an operating engineer with Local 542 in Philadelphia for 55 years.

He enjoyed bowling, hunting, golfing, reading and spending time in the Poconos. He was a loving father and a devoted husband.

He will be sadly missed by his beloved wife, Catherine 'Cass' (Schleigh), and his children, Karen Kelly of Richlandtown, Pa. and Carl R. Arnold Jr. and his wife, Sharon, of Bensalem. He is also survived by five grandchildren, Bill, Steven, Carl III and his wife, Lauren, Patrick, and Kevin; two great-grandchildren, Michael and Lia; and several nieces and nephews.

Relatives and friends are invited to attend his funeral at 9 a.m. on Monday at the Tomlinson Funeral Home, 2207 Bristol Pike, Bensalem, PA 19020, followed by his service at 10 a.m. Friends may also view from 6 to 8 p.m. Sunday at the funeral home.
