Born in Philadelphia Robert has lived in Hawthorne since 1979. He was employed in the stock department for IBM Corp., Franklin Lakes for 25 years. He was a parishioner of St. Anthony's RC Church, Hawthorne. He was the beloved husband of Mary Anne (nee: Sico) Black, loving father of Debra Lazorchak and Robert Black Jr., both of Hawthorne, brother of Joseph Black of Pompton Lakes.
