Robert Walker Elliott, affectionately known as “Bob,” age 89, of Levittown, PA, passed away on Tuesday, October 20, 2026, leaving behind a lifetime of cherished memories, laughter, and love.
Born to the late James and Regina Elliott, Bob grew up in Cornwell Heights alongside his four siblings. He graduated from Bensalem High School in 1955 and went on to build a life defined by hard work, creativity, and a remarkable ability to turn his interests into accomplishments.
Bob began his working years taking on various jobs to support his family before finding his calling in construction. He started installing windows and doors, eventually becoming a foreman before establishing his own contracting business, which he operated for many years. Known for his exceptional craftsmanship, particularly in construction and carpentry, Bob took great pride in his work and the things he could create with his own two hands.
Beyond his career, Bob was a man of many talents and passions. Music held a special place in his heart, beginning with the sounds of the 1940s and continuing throughout his life. A self-taught musician, he could play the guitar, piano, organ, and many other instruments. His adventurous spirit also fueled his love of motorcycles, even inspiring him to build one himself. Bob enjoyed roller-skating competitions and had a particular fondness for dancing. Whether it was the disco, waltz, jitterbug, cha-cha, or foxtrot, he loved the opportunity to get out on the dance floor with his wife Marge. He was also involved in a motorcycle club and Parents Without Partners (PWP).
Above all, Bob was a proud family man. He shared almost 50 years of friendship and marriage with his wife, Margarete, and took great pride in his three children and two stepchildren. His adventurous nature, wonderful sense of humor, and many talents made him someone who could always bring a smile to those around him.
Bob is survived by his wife, Margarete Elliott; his children and step-children: Terri Pine (Jeff), Wendy Elliott, John Elliott, Cynthia Stanton (John), and Frank Urbany (Jennifer); his grandchildren: Trevor (Lindsey), Samantha (David), Brian (Candice), Jenny (Nicholas), Rianna (Jeremy), Taylor (Al), Austin, and Krystal (Joe); his five great-grandchildren; his brother Ronald Elliott (Dorothy); and many other extended family members.
He is now reunited with his parents James Elliott and Regina Elliott (nee King), and his siblings, James (Myrtle), Joseph (Linda), Delores (Dale), and Annie.
A visitation will be held on Wednesday, November 18, 2026, beginning at 1:00 p.m. at James J. Dougherty Funeral Home, 2200 Trenton Road, Levittown, PA 19056. Bob’s memorial service will follow at 2:00 p.m. Family and friends are invited to remain and gather in remembrance until 4:00 p.m.
In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions in Bob's name may be made to St. Jude Children's Research Hospital, 501 St. Jude Place, Memphis, TN 38105.
Bob will be remembered for his adventurous spirit, his love of music and dancing, his skilled hands, and, perhaps most of all, his sense of humor. His legacy lives on in the family he loved, the memories he created, and the many lives he touched along the way.
