In Memory
Robert H. Loucks
February 2, 1937 – January 28, 2025
Robert Harry Loucks, age 87, of Langhorne, PA, passed away peacefully at home on January 28, 2025.
Born in Philadelphia to Samuel and Mable Loucks, Bob was a proud graduate of Bensalem High School. After graduation, he served honorably in the United States Navy, a commitment he held dear throughout his life.
Following his military service, Bob enjoyed a long career as a supervisor at Philadelphia Electric (Peco Energy), where he dedicated over 33 years of his life. He was known for his hard work, strong sense of responsibility, and his desire to always help others when he could.
Bob was a mild-mannered, devoted man who cherished his family above all. He spent his days enjoying the simple pleasures of life—working in the yard, fixing things around his home, and sharing afternoon happy hours with his beloved wife, Bobbie, on their deck and gazebo. He was a creative spirit, enjoying his participation in creating holiday dramas at New Life Christian Church, a place where he also loved to attend regularly. Bob had a special fondness for trying new restaurants with Bobbie and spending time at the Jersey Shore with family.
He is survived by his loving wife of 65 years, Bobbie Lee Loucks, and their four children, Dale Loucks (Mandy), Lori Delp (John), Kyle Loucks (Kris), and Joey Bacon (Joe). He is also deeply missed by his eleven grandchildren: Zachary, Jesse, Madeline, Hailey, Sawyer, Kayla, Kacie, Konnor, Kira, Race, and Chance, as well as his four great-grandchildren, Liam, Lexi, Nathan, and Elijah and another one on the way.
A service to honor Bob’s life will be held on Monday, February 3rd, at New Life Christian Church, 4 Freedom Drive, Newtown, PA. A viewing will be held from 9:30 to 10:30 a.m., followed by a service.
Interment to follow at Forest Hills Cemetery, 25 Byberry Road, Huntingdon Valley, Pennsylvania 19006.
Bob’s family is grateful for the love and support they have received and invite all who knew him to join in celebrating his life.
