Tyroll R. Stearn

March 4, 1939 — March 4, 2026

Tyroll R. Stearn, 87, of Carlisle, passed away March 4, 2026, at Harmony at West Shore.

Born March 4, 1939, in Philadelphia, he was the son of the late Wilmer H. and Sally (Salmone) Stearn. A proud Vietnam veteran, Tyroll served his country in the United States Army, where he retired as Sergeant Major. Throughout his lifetime of service to the Army, he achieved numerous honors.

Surviving Tyroll is his beloved wife, Wiltrud “Helen” Stearn, whom he shared over 65 years of marriage with.

He was a passionate gym goer. He was marital arts enthusiast and instructor. In his earlier years, he enjoyed playing football and racquetball.

Tyroll was a wonderful husband who loved his country, family and his friends. He will be dearly missed.

Friends are invited to his graveside service at Indiantown Gap National Cemetery, 60 Indiantown Gap Rd, Annville, PA 17003 on Tuesday, March 17, 2026, at 1:30pm. Please arrive around 1pm at the cemetery.
