Robert A. Devlin Sr.

Robert A. Devlin Sr. of Levittown passed away peacefully Sunday, Feb. 5, 2017 at St. Mary Medical Center surrounded by his loving family. He was 76. 

Born in Philadelphia, raised in Bensalem, he was in the United States Navy in the Vietnam War, he retired as chief petty officer after 23 years, then as an IT specialist for Unisys. 

Bob was an avid sailor who enjoyed traveling and coached many sports teams but most of all he enjoyed spending time with his family, especially his grandchildren. 

He was preceded in death by his parents, Henry and Ruth Devlin; his brother, Henry Devlin III; his sister, Lois McKay; and son-in-law, James J. Curran. Bob will be greatly missed by his loving and devoted wife of 56 years Dorothy; his children, Robert A. Devlin Jr. (Carol), Catherine Calderin (Emilio), Teresa Curran and Elizabeth Trowell (Eric); his grandchildren, Rachael, Emilio, Alexander, Andrew, Nicholas, Elyse, Olivia, and Alysha; and his four great grandchildren. He will also be greatly missed by his sister, Ruth Ann Peacock; and many nieces and nephews. 

Relatives and friends are invited to attend Bob's funeral Mass 10 a.m. Tuesday, Feb. 14, at Queen of the Universe Church, 2443 Trenton Rd., Levittown, PA 19056. Interment will be held at Washington Crossing National Cemetery.
