Noel E. Hansen - Class Of 1959
NOEL HANSEN Noel Edward Hansen, 70, of Harleysville, formerly of Perkasie, passed away Sunday, November 13, 2011 at his home. His wife and son were at his side in his final moments. Noel loved his family but more importantly, loved his Savior. He left the presence of his family and entered into the presence of his Lord. This was an answer to his prayers. Noel was the husband for 47 years to Martha Anne (Maurer) Hansen. He was born in Philadelphia to the late Johannes and Edel (Edwards) Hansen. Noel served honorably in the U.S. Navy from 1961 until 1967. In addition to his wife, he is survived by three sons, Eric Hansen of Lansdale, Jonathan Hansen of Harleysville, and Owen Hansen and wife, Sherri, of Reading; and a brother, Jack Hansen and wife, Dolores of Philadelphia. He was preceded in death by his son, Seth Hansen. Memorial services will be held Monday, Nov. 21, at 6:30PM at Calvary Baptist Church, 1380 Valley Forge Road, Lansdale, where friends may meet with the family from 6 to 6:30PM.
