Barbara L. Vitale, 81, of Bradenton FL went to her eternal home on Thursday August 22, 2024 after a brief illness. Born in Abington, PA she was the daughter of the late Joseph and Kathryn (Reynolds) Schandel. Barb was preceded in death by her first husband, Edward Kritzberger Jr. and her sister, Beverly Bjornson.

Barb graduated from West Chester University with a BS in Education and taught 5th grade in Lancaster, PA. After remarrying, she and her husband, James Vitale, owned and operated Mill Bridge Village in Ronks, PA (1978-1992) and Glamour Shots Park City in Lancaster, PA (1994 - 1998). Upon relocating to Bradenton, FL they opened and operated Team Vitale Realtors through Coldwell Banker (2000-2022).

Barb lived a selfless, sacrificial life dedicated to those she loved and was a faithful servant of the Lord. She was an active church member at The Worship Center in Lancaster, PA and Bayside Community Church in Bradenton, FL. Barb had a love for travel, tended to her garden, enjoyed walks on the beach looking for sand dollars, and decorated her home to entertain family and friends. 

She was beloved by all and is survived by her husband and children: David Kritzberger (Kami Meily), Sarah (Kritzberger) Shelton (Shawn Shelton), Katherine Vitale, Marshall Vitale (Shelley Steinbaecher), and Christopher Vitale (Denise Black), along with 6 grandchildren and 5 great grandchildren. A Celebration of Life will be held by the family at a later time.
