Richard Arnold Whitaker

Richard A. Whitaker, beloved husband, father, and grandfather, passed away peacefully on July 10, 2024, in Bensalem, PA. He was born on August 8, 1943, and was a loving and dedicated member of his family. Richard was a proud construction superintendent for the Keating Building Corp, where he worked tirelessly to ensure quality projects were completed for the community.

Throughout his life, Richard found joy in various activities, from golfing and boating to water skiing and scuba diving. However, his greatest happiness came from spending time with his grandchildren and attending their games, cheering them on with unwavering support and love.

He is survived by his devoted spouse Cheryl Whitaker, his children Richard Whitaker (Lucille), Joseph Scott Whitaker (Debby), Vicki Zaino (James), and Jennifer Griffith (William), and grandchildren, Joseph, Stephen, Mark, Zachary, Nick, Bailey, Olivia, Payton, and Cameron, and his great grandchildren, Ethan and Evelyn, with one more on the way. Richard's presence will be deeply missed by all who knew him.

Funeral services to honor and celebrate Richard's life will be held at Tomlinson Funeral Home, 2207 Bristol Pike, Bensalem, PA 19020 on July 15, 2024, with public viewing at 10:00 AM and the funeral service at 11:00 AM. Following the services, Richard will be laid to rest at Rosedale Memorial Park.

Richard leaves behind a legacy of love and kindness that will be cherished forever in the hearts of those who knew him. May he rest in peace.
