The Following was composed by Anthony’s family;

Anthony Carboni, affectionately known as Tony, a long- time resident of Bensalem, Pennsylvania died of natural causes on May 6, 2024 at the age of 79.

Tony was born in Philadelphia on August 2, 1944 to Marino Carboni and Adalgisa Speca Carboni. He was a graduate of Bensalem High School in 1962, participating in baseball, track, and wrestling. He graduated from LaSalle University in 1970 receiving a BA. He served in the United States Army for 2 years, receiving an honorable discharge in May of 1968.

He is survived by 3 brothers Eugene, David (Tina), and James (Penelope), and a sister Sandra Kolla (Steve), sister-in-law, Elizabeth, several nieces and nephews, and several grandnieces and grandnephews.

He is predeceased by his father Marino and his mother Adalgisa, 2 brothers Francis and Mario, and a nephew Jeffrey.

After graduating from La Salle, he was a director for a local Red Cross office, went to work in sales until he was employed as an electronics technician where he worked until his retirement.

Tony, until his later years, was very active enjoying racquetball, softball, jogging, bike riding and baseball games as he was always a loyal Phillies fan. He was an avid reader with eclectic tastes who had a large personal library. Along with his kind, easy going nature Tony will always be fondly remembered for his sense of humor and keen wit especially at family gatherings. Tony will be deeply missed by friends, family, and all who knew him.

A funeral service is scheduled for 10:00 a.m. May 16th at St. Ephrem Catholic Church on Hulmeville Road in Bensalem. Prior to the service friends and family may call at 9:30 a.m.
