Frank J. Kammerer
June 6, 1944 - June 2, 2025
Frank J. Kammerer, 80, of Fairfield Township passed Monday, June 2, 2025 surrounded by his family. Frank was born June 6, 1944 to the late Violet (Steinbrecker) & Frank J. Kammerer Sr. in Philadelphia, PA. He grew up in Bucks County, PA graduating from Bensalem High School class of 1963, before ultimately deciding to serve his country in the US Army. Back then anyone wanting to find Frank knew to look for him at his family's business, Whale Creek Marina in Strathmere working, fishing, or out on his boat.
Upon returning from his military service, Frank began his career as a steel fabricator, where he spent many years working for Cornell & Company, INC. of Woodbury. Outside of career, Frank had a passion for Fishing, hunting, and practicing at the gun range. He loved being outside and spending time in nature conservancy. Frank stayed active by his many hobbies along with his volunteer work. He had memberships at several organizations where he loved to spend time including the Millville Elks Lodge, Citizens United, and Bayshore Discovery, which funded projects such as teaching local youth how to operate and build boats. He loved sharing his knowledge with others, especially his grandchildren, teaching them how to fish, hunt, and shoot, and make bird houses. Later in life, he pursued his love of painting, even taking classes to further enhance his natural talent.
Frank leaves his memory to be cherished by his loving wife, Shoshana Osofsky; his three children, Frank Kammerer Jr. (Daneen) of Pennsylvania, Tracy Cefaratti (Mike) of Woodbury Heights, and Julia Kammerer of West Deptford; stepdaughters, Alice Floyd and Shawna Forbes; grandchildren, Jacob, Taylor, Rachel, Rebecca, Dylan, Skyler, and Sophia as well as several great grandchildren and a host of extended family and friends.

Richard B. Miller (1964)
Although I didn't kinow Frank personally, my wife and her family knew him well. They had a house in Whale Beach and dealt with Frank for all kinds of fishing and boating needs. Strathmere was part of the Jersey shore that I was unfamkiliar with until I was introduced to it by my wife in the early 2000's. She said her uncles and her father knew Frank for years, and they remember him as a "nice guy." I'm sorry I never had the chance to meet him.
Barbara L. Hughes (Incarnato) (1963)
I grew up with Frank as he lived across State Rd and I in Echo Beach. We all got together holidays to play games on the field (houses now). As teenagers we all gathered at his parents sea shore home is Sea Isle. We had been friends since childhood. He was a great friend and will always remember him fondly.
