Robert Andreas Lindemann

JANUARY 31, 1946 – MAY 16, 2022

Robert A. Lindemann (Bob) passed away on May 16, 2022 at the age of 76 in San Antonio, Tx. He was born on January 31, 1946 in Philidelphia, Pa. to Robert J. and Mildred Lindemann, to be the eldest of 3 children.

Bob joined the Air Force in 1964 and went to Basic Training in San Antonio, Texas and served at Randolph Air Force Base. He was trained as a programmer and worked in the IT department at Randolph. Bob went on to work for San Antonio Savings for 25 years which was bought out by Bank of America. He then went to work for World Savings, which was later to become part of the Wells Fargo family, where he worked for 27 years and retired on February 28, 2022.

He started his two favorite hobbies, softball and golf, while stationed at Randolph. He played slow pitch softball until he was 70 years old and continued to play golf until shortly before he passed.

Bob was survived by his wife Judy, their son Robert and wife Valerie, and their children Ada and Miles; his brother Ray and wife Donna, their two daughters, husbands and grandchildren; and his sister Vicki Armstrong and her husband Tim, their son and his wife. He is also survived by his sister-in-law Jeanie McCraw her husband Roger, their two sons, wives and grandchildren, and his sister-in-law Jackie Hayden.
