GERARD P. LAICH , age 69 of West Bristol passed away on Tuesday Feb. 23, 2016 At Holy Redeemer Hospice in Meadowbrook after a brief illness surrounded by his loving family. Born in Phila. and raised in Bensalem, he resided in West Bristol for the past 16 years. Gerry worked as a toll taker on the Penna. Turnpike retiring in 2014. He was an a Army veteran of the Vietnam War and a lifetime member of Andalusia VFW Post # 9198. Gerry was an avid gardener who had a deep love of animals.

Son of the late Frederick and Mary Laich ( nee Garman ); beloved husband of Daylynne " Penny " Laich ( nee Rogers ); devoted father of Carol, Gerard, Jr. and Gina; step father of Edward Nichols; loving brother of Fred Laich ( Kathy ), Mary Heisler ( Jo ), Mark Laich ( Eileen ) , Lorraine Brutschea, Paul Laich ( Karen ), Marita Laich, Loretta Armstrong , Celeste McGuigan ( Chick ), Joseph Laich ( Jeanne ) and the late Richard Laich. also survived by 5 grandchildren and 2 great grandchildren.

Family and friends are invited to attend his Memorial Gathering on Saturday March 5, 2016 from 9:45am --10:45am at St. Charles Borromeo Ch. Bristol Pk. and Hulmeville Rd. Bensalem , Pa. 19020 followed by his Memorial Mass 11:00am. Rite of Committal Private .
