Samuel Joseph Gerner, Jr passed away on Wednesday, May 1, 2024, at the age of 76. Sam was born in Philadelphia, PA to the late Eleanor (Williams) and Samuel Joseph Gerner, Sr and was a resident of Bristol for past 40 years. He spent over five decades in the insurance industry, running GSI Insurance Agency and always ensuring his clients were taken care of. Sam was a proud US Army Veteran.

With a passion for golf, fishing, boating, and tending to his lawn, Sam filled his life with activities he truly enjoyed. He cherished family time at their mountain house, where he could unwind and create lasting memories with his loved ones. Sam's joy was often amplified when he spent quality time with his grandchildren, taking them on boating and fishing adventures, creating unforgettable moments together. He was a devoted family man who found the most fulfillment in spending time with his loved ones.

Sam will be deeply missed by his beloved wife of 43 years, Gerri (Ditolla) Gerner. He will also be deeply missed by his son, Christopher Gerner (Jennifer) and his late son Chad William Gerner; His grandchildren; Brielle, Jackson, and Lucas; His siblings: Gary Gerner (Elaine), Frederick Gerner (Jeri), Ellen Petty (the late James), Jane Myers (Harold), and Kenneth Gerner; and many loving nieces, nephews, great nieces, great nephews and many other loving family members and friends. Sam was also preceded in death by his sister, Geraldine Plunkett.

Relatives and friends are invited to attend his viewing Friday, May 10, 2024, from 10 to 11 AM at the Tomlinson Funeral Home, 2207 Bristol Pike, Bensalem, PA 19020, followed by his service at 11 AM.
