Sellersville, PA

Mary Lou Dando, 77, of Sellersville, passed away on December 16, 2025. She was born in Philadelphia on June 19, 1948 to the late Francis and Phylliss (Hussey) Pellegrino. Mary Lou was the loving wife of the late James Charles Dando for 41 years until his passing in 2010. She worked as a secretary in manufacturing at various companies for most of her life, starting right out of high school. Mary Lou was an avid reader, and always enjoyed watching Phillies games. She loved dogs, including, but certainly not limited to Tiffany, Shelby, Casey, Bailey, Thunder, and Skye. Mary Lou was an amazing wife, mother, and grandmother, and always put others first. She was an Army wife, and would become a regular supporter of veteran charities. Mary Lou loved fishing and being out on the water when she was able. She would get together when possible with a group of ladies called the "Chicks of '66", who all graduated from Bensalem High School that year.

Mary Lou is survived by her daughters Michelle Yocom (Jeff) and Deborah Renee Dando (Joe); grandchildren Elizabeth, Emily, Jason, and RJ; brother Dennis Pellegrino (Karen); sister-in-law Irene Pellegrino; brother-in-law Ken Dando (Sue); and many other loving family and friends. She is predeceased by her parents and brother Franny Pellegrino.

All are invited on Tuesday, December 23, 2025 to Naugle Funeral & Cremation Service, 135 W. Pumping Station Rd., Quakertown, PA 18951 for a viewing from 10:00-11:00am, and a funeral service at 11:00am. Mary Lou will be laid to rest at a later date with her husband at Arlington National Cemetery.

I had many classes with Mary Lou; she was always such a joy to be around.  Also, I used to deliver pizzas with Jimmy at Carousel Pizza on Street Road.  Those are great memories.  In my book, both of them are heroes.  RIP & God bless.
