Calvin L. Lawson - Class Of 1966

Calvin L. Lawson

Calvin L. Lawson of Croydon died Saturday, March 16, 2013, at Aria Health-Bucks. He was 64.

Born in Collinsville, Pa., he was a resident of Croydon for 42 years, and previously of Bensalem.

Cal was employed as a concrete laborer with Local 332, and a technician with Local 98, with a combined service of more than 40 years with the Unions. He was a member of the BPOE 970, and served as a PER (Past Exaulted Ruler). He also was a member of the Bristol Moose, and an avid golfer, pool player, and bowler.

He will be sadly missed by his beloved wife of 42 years, Helen (Greives) Lawson. He was the devoted father of Stacy, Timothy, Brian, and Brett Lawson. He also is survived by four brothers, one sister; and many nieces and nephews.

Relatives and friends are invited to call from 6 to 7 p.m. Thursday, at Tomlinson Funeral Home, 2207 Bristol Pike, Bensalem, followed by an Elk service at 7 p.m. and a prayer service at 7:15 p.m. Interment will be held privately.

Memorial contributions in Cal's name may be made to the John Burg Memorial Scholarship Fund, 95 Wood St., Bristol, PA 19007. Tomlinson Funeral Home, Bensalem

John W. Floyd (1966)

I remember Calvin as a serious person, very well respected always above the bs that surrounds young people.  Calvin was a quiet force and admired by many men and women.
