| Leon Anthony Wasko, 59, of Albrightsville, died Sunday surrounded by his loving family.
Born in Philadelphia, he lived in Bensalem until moving to Albrightsville 36 years ago. A 1966 graduate of Bensalem High School, he attended Penn State University, Wilkes-Barre Campus. Leon loved spending time outdoors and he was a member of Laurel Masonic Lodge 467, White Haven. Leon was devoted to his family and will be sadly missed by all of his family and friends. He was the loving son of Wanda (Ziemba) and the late Eugene W. Wasko; beloved husband for 38 years of Joyce (Fogarty) Wasko; devoted father of Kristina Miller and her husband, Scott, and Nikolas and Michael; and loving grandfather of Jack, Joey, Jimmy, Brooke and Leah. He was the loving brother of Eugene, Raymond, Steven, Denise Althouse and Michele Daley. His Funeral Mass will be celebrated at 11 a.m. Saturday in St. Ephrem Church, Bensalem. Interment will be in Resurrection Cemetery, Bensalem. Relatives and friends will be received by the family on Friday from 6:30 to 8:30 p.m. and Saturday from 9:30 to 10:30 a.m. in Hoffman Funeral Home, Hulmeville Road and Brown Avenue, Bensalem. |
