Herman along with his brother Paul were my cousins who lived around the corner from me. I can remember many fond memories of playing softball with them in our large back yard with other kids from the neighborhood. I also have fond memories of my parents and his singing and dancing at each other's house. Herman went into the Army sometime after graduation and became a cook. He met his wife oversees and had two girls. He settled in Texas after he retired and unfortunately was killed in a head on collison years ago. I'll always remember Herman fondly and remember the fun times we had as kids.
