Born in Trevose, PA, Vernon Lived in South Jersey most of his life. Vernon lived a very storied life and if you were lucky enough to be in his presence long enough chances are you got to hear one of those legendary stories. Vernon also had the entrepreneurial spirit from a very young age. Entrepreneurship took his life in many different directions starting with a clothing store(Fantastic Fashions) to music management of his group (Double Exposure), to sales, and finally settling into a long career as a Franchisee of both Burger King and Pizza Hut. He was involved in the community and his weekends were always devoted to coaching his kids in basketball and track. Vernon's awards and accomplishments were vast and he not only owned 65+ restaurants, he was also the President of the Minority Franchise Association with Burger King and sat on several boards within the company. Vernon had a passion for real estate management and turned to house flipping as a hobby after retirement. He enjoyed nothing more than spending time with his family and friends and cooking for whatever celebration was on the calendar or just a Sunday spent hanging out. More than anything he loved laughing and a joke at your expense was how he showed his love for you. Most of all he reveled in being the best dad and devoted grandfather.
