James William Hopkins

James William Hopkins of Bensalem passed away Sunday, June 18, 2023, surrounded by his loving family. He was 73 years old. Born in Philadelphia to the late Helen Marie (Stead) and Wilber Hopkins and was a resident of Bensalem for the last 60 years. James worked as a purchasing agent for over 40 years, 1st with Gill Aluminum for 30 years and later with SDA Mechanical until he retired. He was a member of the Patrick’s Pub Friday Night Social Club, Bensalem VFW Post 9220, Croydon VFW Post 1597 and the Fraternal Order of Police. He enjoyed taking family vacations to Ocean City, Maryland and loved all genres of music, especially oldies. James will be deeply missed by his beloved wife of 45 years, Diane (Gill) Hopkins. He is also survived by his loving daughter, Michelle Denoncour (Art); His grandchildren: Samantha (Fiancé Chris) and Daniel Denoncour; His siblings: Joseph Dorman (Sharon), Jeff Hopkins (Maureen), Mary Stauring (James) and David Hopkins; His grand cat Sylvester and many other loving family members and friends.
