Obituary

With heavy hearts, we announce the passing of John James “Jack” Kenney Jr., of Bensalem, PA, on Saturday, May 4, 2024, at the age of 75. Born in Philadelphia, PA, to the late Josephine M. (Madden) and John J. Kenney Sr. and was a longtime resident of Bensalem. Jack is survived by his three loving children, John James “Jack” Kenney III (April), Stacey Kenney (Christopher), and Christine Mannino (Mark); his grandchildren Caleb, Avery, Asher, Max and Luke; his former spouse, Carol Katzmar Kenney; his sister Joan Charlton (the late Francis W. Charlton Jr.); his nieces and nephews, and many loving extended family members and friends.

Jack was a proud US Army veteran who served in Vietnam. Following his service, he established Jack Kenney Masonry which he owned and operated for nearly four decades. He will be remembered for his hard work, dedication, and great pride in his craft. He was a devoted member of VFW Post 9198 in Andalusia and Local 592 (Cement Masons). Jack's commitment to the community extended to his role as the Parade Chairman of the Bensalem Memorial Day Parade Committee for many years.

Jack brought much joy and laughter to everyone fortunate to know him. He loved riding his Harleys, listening to Elvis tunes, and enjoyed taking trips, especially to Florida. Jack cherished spending time with his family and friends. A man of loyalty, Jack will be deeply missed and fondly remembered by all who knew him.

Relatives and friends are invited to attend Jack’s visitation at Tomlinson Funeral Home, 2207 Bristol Pike, Bensalem, PA 19020, on Thursday, May 16, 2024, from 1 to 3 pm followed by his service at 3 pm.
