Harold W. Bill Maddocks - Class Of 1967
| Harold W. "Bill" Maddocks Jr., age 58, of Bensalem, died May 23, 2007 at his home surrounded by his loving family.
Born in Abington, he was a lifelong resident of Bensalem. Bill was a Bensalem Township Councilman for 12 years. He was a founding member of the Bensalem Rescue Squad, where he served as captain. He was a member of the Newport Fire Co. Bill graduated from Bensalem High School and Bucks County Tech School class of 1967 and also graduated from the Culinary Institute of New York and became a chef and restaurant manager. He was a Marine Corps veteran. Bill worked as a real estate agent for Weidel-Ramagli in Bensalem and was currently working at Philadelphia Park Casino. Son of the late Harold W. Maddocks Sr., Bill is survived by his beloved wife Debra A. (Wheat) Maddocks; two sons, Harold W. Maddocks III of Colorado and Justin Maddocks of Bensalem; a step-daughter, Dawn Davis of Delaware; and four grandchildren, Zoe, Haley, Brandon, and Christen. He is also survived by his mother, Viola Combs Maddocks of Lang-horne; two brothers, Charles Maddocks of Bensalem and Ralph Maddocks of Levittown; and two sisters, Chrissy Logue of Virginia and Viola Becker of Florida. A celebration of his life will be announced at a later date. Memorial contributions may be made to St. Jude Children's Hospital, 501 St. Jude Place, Memphis, TN 38105.
