Phillip Parrish of Reno, NV was born on December 6, 1948 and passed on May 5, 2026. He had been living a quiet life in Reno, NV since the 1980's but had lived in Portland, OR for a few years prior.
Phillip was the brother of Dennis Parrish and half-brother of Ralph Walker. He is predeceased by his parents Tracy and Hilda Parrish.
Phillip was born in Panama but later grew up in Rome, NY where he attended Bell Road Elementary, Staley Junior High, and Rome Free Academy. While still a senior, the family moved to Bensalem, PA where he graduated from Bensalem High Scholl in 1967.
Phillip joined the Navy when he was about 19 and spent the next six years on a ship in the Pacific and time in the Philippines when docked. After leaving the Navy, he settled in Portland for a few years and later moved to Reno where he has lived for about the last 50 years.
Phillip and his brother Dennis loved music and often shared music via email. He played piano and organ and wrote some original music.
