Friday, April 22nd, 1949 - Sunday, March 5th, 2023

Lawrence (Larry) Michael Phelps, of Bensalem, passed away peacefully in his own home on March 5, 2023; he was 73 years old. Larry was the co-owner of Thermodesign, Inc. for about 45 years before recently retiring and selling the business. In his free time he enjoyed rebuilding, restoring, and racing cars with his friends. His pride and joy was the blue 1967 Chevelle SS 327 race car that he restored part by part. He also liked to work around the house and achieved his dream of designing and building his own mountain house in Union Dale, PA where he loved to spend time with his entire family and many friends.
He will be deeply missed by his loving wife of 50 years, Donna (nee Monroe), his daughters, Shawn Mark (Randall), Wendy Kulp (Theodore), and Lauren Ricottone (Christopher), as well as his grandchildren: Alexandra Kulp, Rachel Mark, Madison Kulp, Charlie Ricottone, and Michael Ricottone, his sister Denise Held (Robert) and his faithful dog Holly. Larry also had many loving cousins, nephews, a multitude of friends who were like family to him. He is preceded in death by his mother Shirley (Gies) and father Lester Phelps.
Relatives and friends are invited to attend his Visitation at the Tomlinson Funeral Home, 2207 Bristol Pike, Bensalem, Pa 19020 on Saturday, March 11 from 9:00-11:00 AM followed by his Service at 11:00 AM. Inurnment will take place at Rosedale Memorial Park. IN lieu of flowers, the family requests that donations be made in Lawrence’s name to Fox Chase Cancer Center, https://www.foxchase.org/, or the Bensalem Education Foundation; 3000 Donallen Drive, Bensalem, PA 19020.

Charles Franz (Franz) (1967)

I am so saddened to hear of your passing. I have the best memories of growing up together, especially our high school days with you, Greggy, Jackie and Frankie. I learned of your passing  last week when Frankie and Pat came to spend Monday with us. I'll never forget the fun we had with the (Hopper) your Rambler station wagon and The 67 yellow Chevelle. Phyllis will always remember you taught her to ride a bicycle. Rest in Peace my dear friend. Condolences to Donna , Denise and all the family.
