Evelyn J. Yerkes, a resident of Trevose, passed away Thursday, Sept. 19, 2013, at Chandler Hall. She was 64.
She was the wife of Robert Yerkes Sr., to whom she was married for 45 years.
Born in Abington, Evelyn was a daughter of the late Thomas and Elizabeth Musgreave.
In addition to her husband, Evelyn also is survived by two children, Cheryl Stum (Michael) and Robert Jr. (Hazel); three granddaughters, Kendra, Victoria and Abigail; and two sisters, Eleanor Ems and Elizabeth Becker.
Relatives and friends are invited to Evelyn's life celebration from 6 to 8 p.m. Thursday, at Dunn Givnish of Langhorne, 378 S. Bellevue Ave., and from 10 to 11 a.m. Friday, at Calvary Chapel, 13500 Philmont Ave., where services will be at 11 a.m. Interment will follow in Forest Hills Cemetery.

Ev was a 1967 graduate of BHS. She was one of the nicest people. She fought a courageous battle against cancer for three years. She will be missed.
