John P. Kutalek of Morrisville passed away suddenly on August 16, 2024. He was 71 years old. John is survived by his loving wife, Joanne (Serventi); sons, Matthew (Melissa), and Mark; grandchildren, Dylan, and Reese; siblings, Barbara Luciano (Dave), and Susan Smith (Allen); and sisters-in-law, Darlene Drazek (Ed), Sharon Kamp (Dave), Cathy Bowman, Denise Serventi, Chris Uccelletti (John), June Serventi, and Terri Webb (Dave).
John was a graduate of Bensalem High School and served in the US Marine Corps from 1970-1976. He then served as a Falls Township Police Officer for 26 years. He was also a 30-year member of the American Legion. John was an avid Eagles and Phillies fan and enjoyed fishing and gardening. But, he mostly enjoyed spending time with his grandchildren on vacations at Disney World. He also enjoyed summers at the shore in Sea Isle City. John was also known for his dry sense of humor.
Relatives and friends are invited to John's Life Celebration on Wednesday, August 21, 2024, from 5:30 PM to 8:00 PM at Beck Givnish Funeral Home, 7400 New Falls Road, Levittown, PA 19055. A second visitation will be held at the funeral home on Thursday, August 22, 2024, from 10:00 AM to 11:30 AM. A service will begin at 11:30 AM.
In lieu of flowers, donations in John's name may be sent to The Wounded Warrior Project or The Alzheimer's Association.
