Bruce Joseph Kearney

December 4, 1953 – August 1, 2025

Bruce Joseph Kearney, age 71, of Morrisville, PA, passed away on August 1st 2025 at his home.

The eldest of 5, he was born on December 4th, 1953 in Philadelphia, PA, to Dolores M. (Wertz) and John J. Kearney.

Bruce spent his career as a Millwright and gave back to the community with his work at Bucks County Transportation before his retirement. In his spare time, he enjoyed relaxing in his pool and watching the trains through Strasburg Rail Road’s YouTube feed. In his youth, he was a roller coaster and steam train enthusiast, vacationing annually in Lancaster for trains and Wildwood for coasters.

He is survived by Deborah A. Kearney, their 2 children: John J. Kearney, Jennifer A. Martin (Patrick), their 2 grandchildren: Theodore J. and James E. Martin, and two of his siblings John E. Kearney (Denise) and Linda A. Johnson. He is also survived by his best friend, William Walsh (Michelle) of Pemberton, NJ.

A memorial dinner will be held at the end of October. Bruce’s children will be able to provide details.
