Obituary

Leonard William Jackson passed away peacefully at home with his family by his side on Monday, May 4, 2026, after a year-long battle with pancreatic cancer. He was 69 years old. Born in Philadelphia, son of the late Frederick and Charlotte (nee Gorski) Jackson, he was a Bensalem resident for the past 36 years. Leonard was employed in the Maintenance Department for Bensalem Township Public Works, retiring after 25 years of service. He was an avid Nascar fan, and enjoyed spending time with his family, especially his grandchildren.

He is survived by his loving wife, Edith (nee Zuchero) Jackson, and will be sadly missed by his children, William Jackson and his wife, Christina, and Francine Jackson-Byrne and her husband, Michael, and his four grandchildren, Bradley, Caleb, Brooke, and Jacob. He is also survived by one sister, Dolores Siebert (the late Robert), two brothers, Robert Jackson and his wife, Lila, and Stephen Jackson and his wife, Joyce, along with several nieces and nephews.

Relatives and friends are invited to attend his Funeral Mass on Tuesday, May 12, 2026, 11am at St. Ephrem Church, 5400 Hulmeville Road, Bensalem. Interment, Resurrection Cemetery. Friends may call from 10am until time of Mass at the Church.
