Kevin R. Aicher

Obituary for Kevin Ronald Aicher

Kevin Ronald Aicher, 67, passed away peacefully on July 15, 2025, at 6:29 PM at Advent Hospital in Orlando, Florida. Born on September 6, 1957, in Bristol, Pennsylvania, Kevin lived a life defined by boldness, heart, and resilience.

A towering figure in both personality and spirit, Kevin was known for his larger-than-life presence, his generosity, and his deep love for family. He grew up in Bucks County, where he attended Bensalem High School and played quarterback, bringing a competitive drive and leadership to the field that carried into every chapter of his life.

Kevin began his career selling cars at Pick A Car in Pennsylvania in his twenties, a job his brother Gerald “Jerry” Aicher helped him secure. He later partnered with his uncle Ron to co-found a consulting business called “A Better Way,” a name that was both the company and his personal motto. This venture launched a career that would make Kevin a well-known figure in the automotive world.

In the early 1990s, Kevin purchased University Dodge in Davie, Florida, and went on to expand his business to include Clermont Dodge in Florida and Brevard Dodge in North Carolina. Known for his bold, unforgettable marketing style, Kevin loved making life fun—not just for himself, but for those around him. He once filmed a commercial for Clermont Dodge where he jumped out of a helicopter holding his beloved Chihuahua, Elmo. Kevin lived life full-throttle and never did anything halfway. He had a flair for the extraordinary and truly loved the ride.

Kevin’s love extended beyond business. He cherished his homes in Lake Toxaway, North Carolina, and Lower Matecumbe Key in the Florida Keys, where he wished for his ashes to be spread. He also spent treasured time at his residences in Clermont and South Florida. A passionate outdoorsman, he spent countless hours boating and jet skiing, especially enjoying these moments with his son Kevin Jr.

Family was at the core of Kevin’s life. He was a devoted son to his mother, Veronica Anne Aicher, and his father, Steven Aicher, who both preceded him in death. He was also preceded in death by his brother, Gerald “Jerry” Aicher.

He is survived by his partner, Melissa Taylor; his sons, Kevin Ronald Aicher Jr. and Matthew Aicher; Kevin Jr.’s fiancée, Maria Maltez; and his beloved granddaughter, Madeline Aicher, along with other family and friends who will miss him dearly.

In his later years, Kevin embraced a simpler, quieter chapter. He found comfort in his faith, enjoyed time at home with Melissa, and loved nothing more than relaxing with his favorite dog, Ivy, and watching movies. He found joy and peace in these treasured moments, surrounded by love and companionship.

Kevin is also remembered for his quick wit and charm, often leaving loved ones laughing with his favorite saying,

“We’re out of here like a herd of turtles.”

Details regarding memorial services and the spreading of his ashes in the Florida Keys will be announced at a later time.

The family welcomes condolences and appreciates the outpouring of love during this time.
