OBITUARY

Stephen Pfender Sr.

June 5, 1961 – March 7, 2025

Stephen Pfender Sr., 63, of Trevose, passed away on Friday, March 7, 2025.

Stephen was a devoted family man, known for his unwavering love and support for his family. He was a proud 9/11 first responder, demonstrating immense bravery and dedication during one of the nation's most challenging times. Stephen was also a skilled craftsman, admired for his meticulous work and creativity. He built his career as a brick layer and iron worker, always willing to lend a hand to anyone who needed help.

He is survived by his former wife and life long friend, Mary Graham Pfender, his son Stephen Jr. (Laura), and his daughters Tara (Chris), Allison (Anthony), and Corinne (Mike). Stephen was a cherished grandfather to nine grandchildren; Forrest, Maya, Stephen III, Michael Jr., Kirra, Jimmy, Anthony, Aurelia and Lukas, who brought immense joy to his life.

Stephen was an avid Philadelphia sports fan, who passionately supported his favorite teams through thick and thin.

Stephen's legacy of courage, craftsmanship, and family devotion will be remembered and cherished by all who knew him.

A viewing will be held on Friday, March 14, 2025 from 10:30 a.m until 12:30 p.m. at James J. Dougherty Funeral Home, 2200 Trenton Road, Levittown PA 19056. There will be a prayer service at 12:30 p.m.
