Nicholas W. Thierjung

Nicholas W. Thierjung, age 64, of Bensalem, Pa, passed away peacefully on September 25, 2026, surrounded by his loving family. Nick was born to Nick and Ginny Thierjung on April 29, 1962.

Nick was raised in Bensalem and was a graduate of Bensalem High School where he made lasting memories and friendships along the way. Nick worked at Alert Motor Freight Inc. in Cinnaminson, N.J. where he was general manager for the past 31 years.

In Nick’s leisure time he enjoyed being outdoors hunting and fishing. Nick really looked forward to deer hunting season and spending a week of quality time at the cabin with his Dad, his special cousin David, and his good friend Ed, just to name a few. We wouldn’t hear many stories about the cabin due to their one rule, “what happens at the cabin stays at the cabin.” He also had enthusiasm for classic cars and spent many weekends attending car shows. But Nick’s real joy came from spending time with Ana, from road trips and weekend getaways spent in Atlantic City. He will be sorely missed by all who came to know him.

Nick is pre deceased by his parents, Nicholas E. Thierjung and Virginia (Cratch) Thierjung, his precious daughter, Nicole Thierjung and his beloved sisters, Cynthia Kay Looney and Terri Thierjung.

Nick is survived by his loving wife, Ana M Burch; his son James Thierjung; his sister Karen (Jules) Matusek; stepchildren Cristina (Tom) and Matthew, grandchildren Anthony, Joseph, Adalynn, Kimberly and Violet; and many nieces and nephews.

Services and interment are private.
