Obituary
Kenneth M. Maicher passed away on February 20, 2025. He was 61 years old. Born in Philadelphia, PA on June 11, 1963, to the late Edward and Julia Maicher. Later in 1970, moved to Bensalem where he resided most of his life.
Ken loved playing recreational football growing up and continued playing through his high school years at Bensalem High School, where he graduated in 1981.
Ken married his high school sweetheart “Cis” Browning on September 24, 1988. They had two children together, Colleen and Kenneth aka Ziggy as Big Ken came up with. “Cis” passed away in 2008 and her and Ken are now reunited again.
He loved going to the beach when the kids were younger and taking hikes, which carried on to enjoying hikes with his grandsons at Neshaminy Falls. “Coach Ken” was known for his unique nicknames for his kids’ friends and teammates and always had the best jokes (if you were able to understand his humor).
Whether you were a neighbor or a stranger, Ken would give you the shirt off his back. He possessed a great heart and loved to help any way he could.
Along with his wife and parents, Ken was predeceased by his brother, Eddy Maicher, his sister, Denise Maicher, and his parents-in-law James Browning and Agnes Browning.
He is survived by his daughter Colleen Maicher (Zach Plude) and her daughter Adrian Plude of Bensalem; Son, Kenny Maicher (Danielle) and his children, Weston, Declan, and Finley Maicher of Bensalem; his sister, Arlene Weidmann (Frank) of Trevose; niece, Joanna Weidmann Chism (Josh) of Arkansas; and nephew, F. Christian Weidmann of Trevose. Ken is also survived by many family members and countless friends.
