OBITUARY

Lorien Fitzpatrick

February 10, 1964 – May 19, 2026

After a courageous 13 year fight against cancer, Lori passed away peacefully on Tuesday, May 19, 2026. She was a young-minded 62 years old, born to Bettye and Fred Moore on February 10, 1964.

Lori loved helping people and spent the majority of her working life in the medical field, proudly serving as a nurse and patient advocate. In addition to helping people, Lori adored animals. She volunteered at the Philadelphia Zoo and in all of her travels, made certain to visit Best Friends Animal Sanctuary in Utah. Her latest passport stamp was Thailand, where she and her niece Kristen helped care for the animals at an elephant sanctuary.

One of Lori’s passions was traveling – she loved to experience the world. Her adventures allowed her to embrace different cultures, appreciate Earth's beauty, and create memorable stories that lasted throughout her precious lifetime.

Lori is survived by her husband, Joseph Fitzpatrick, step-son Brendan Fitzpatrick, father Fred Moore, uncle Lawrence Boykin, sisters Maria Foust and Melane Bower, brothers-in-law Carlo Foust and Shawn Lawler, nieces and nephews Derrick Williams, Breanna Bower, Mike Bower, Hali Bower, Kristen Bower, Rebekah Baxter, and Alyssa Bower. She is also survived by many other family members, including loving cousins and tons of devoted friends.

In addition to her mother Bettye Boykin, she is preceded in death by her grandmother, Deborah Boykin, Aunt and Uncle Ora and Robert Cooper, niece Rachel Cooper and nephew Vincent Boykin.
